1. We deliver the highest conversion rates in the industry (about 10-12% better on average).
a. Classification of all the unsuccessful transactions by intent to pay and sharing (lots of customer) data in real time with the merchants via APIs. The retries are stripped out from here to give unique transactions which in turn helps the merchant’s customer care to be more effective and efficient.
b. Wrapper algorithms like:
(i) Dynamic switching of transactions between different payment gateways in real time on the basis of health and success rates. It is an algorithm which decides which payment gateway to use for a given transaction in real time. It factors into consideration the health of the gateway (which in turn also includes response time of the gateway), the local probability of success of a given transaction given the bin parameters, global probability of success of a given transaction given all parameters etc. It is an algorithm that is used in Nuclear reactors that we have modified for our own use.

Also, unlike many of our competition, which takes additional 45 days to make MasterCard live after Visa is live; we make MasterCard live the same time as Visa! We enable both Visa and MasterCard in less than 3weeks and NetBanking will be enabled in just one week.

a. All unsuccessful transactions details are shown and they are classified into different buckets according to intent to pay. They are further differentiated as which are the ones that we need to go back to and which are the ones where effort can be avoided.
b. Measuring performance of different attributes and comparison to historical benchmarks.

We give a lot of CSS control on the transaction page allowing significant branding, customization of colors/fonts/sizes/borders etc. This gives user the consistent experience since they see the same screen always and not different screens.

PayU also offers device fingerprinting – a technology which uniquely fingerprint any device on the basis of over 400 parameters. It is an extremely useful input to control fraudulent transactions.
